I am the creator and founder of Move.Create.Learn. LLC. I am a native of Iowa where I grew up studying dance. I continued my training at Northern Illinois University where I received my B.F.A in Dance Performance. From there I spent years performing in ballets, musicals and commercial 'gigs' along with teaching various styles of dance in Studios around the midwest and southeast.  In 2011 I returned to the classroom and received my Graduate Certificate in Birth-Kindergarten Education from UNC-Charlotte. My love for teaching preschool age children continued to grow when my family moved to Crested Butte, Colorado. While in Colorado the preschool program I worked at put Social and Emotional skills first in the classroom. It was in Colorado that I started blending my love of movement with my knowledge of social/emotional health. In Move.Create.Learn LLC I have worked to provide a fun and exciting space for movement and exploration and also a space where children can be taught positive interactions and behaviors that will empower them even after they have left the classroom.
